She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Bracken Wells (late William), Marian Bracken Lawson, David Bracken (Jackie) and Melissa Bracken Howie (Solomon); her grandchildren, Lee Lawson (Dominque), Jordan Comer, Charysse Jones and Paul Totten; her great grandchildren, Aurora Baker and Titus Jones; and her close friends, Johanna Mills, Charlene Woodson, Clarinda Kellam, Odella Watkins and Addie Hargrove. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Jerusalem Baptist Church (1570 N Long St, Salisbury, NC 28144). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Greenview Cemetery (1004 Montgomery St, Reidsville, NC 27320).
