She was predeceased by: her parents, Numa Glenn Washburn, Sr. and Myrtle Warren Washburn; her husband James "Jimmy" Abner King, Jr.; and her sisters, Dorothy W. Wilson and Mary Lou W. Chambers.
She is survived by: her son James Abner King, III; her brother N. G. Washburn; her brother-in-law Worley King; and her grandchildren, Shawn Lawson (Kim), Jennifer Thompson (Hank), Ryan King (Kim), Kristen Trone (Mitch), Brandon Branch (Brittney), Joshua Branch, Noah Branch (Katie), Noelle Boone (Austin), Sarah Rakestraw (Jason) and Timothy Herndon (Ashley). She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
