She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Thornton and Clyde Thornton; her husband James Bearden; her brothers, Paul, Clayton Haney, Gene, Lonnie, Jerry, Norwood and Charlie Thornton; her sons-in-law, Frank Thacker and Danny Pegram; and her grandson Jonathan Thacker.
She is survived by: her children, Charlie Carty Jr. (Patsy) of Greensboro, David Bearden (Beverly) of Reidsville, Patricia Pegram of King, Brenda Thacker of Reidsville and Theresa Moore (Steve) of Reidsville; her grandchildren, Kelly Carty (Tabitha), Danielle Cockerham (Monte), Dan Pegram (Laura), Rebekah Guthrie (Caleb), Angie Thacker, Brent Moore (Jordan), Dylan Bearden and Brad Hemric; her great grandchildren, Katie, Haley, Logan, Aiden, Ryan, Tyler, Avaleigh, Lilly, Garrett, Annabell, Charli, Blake, Jameson, Katelyn and Everly; and her great great grandchildren, Westlynn and Cooper.
