She was predeceased by: her father Robert "Trick" Junior Lawson. She is survived by: her husband Harvey T. Lane; her mother Inez Slade Lawson; her brothers, Irvin Lawson (Debra), Larry Lawson (Christine) and Randy Lawson; her siblings-in-law, Yvonne Walker (Desi), Diane Lane, Gwendolyn Bacote, Sharon Lane Ingram, Renae Lane McGhee (Loren) and Steven Andre Lane (Ava); and her nieces and nephews, Kristal Lane, Chandice Lane, LaQuenta McGhee Rawls, Brandi Lawson, Asia Lane, Aniya Lane, Lee Lawson (Rudy), Kelvin Broadnax, Darius Bacote and DaQuan McGhee. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home (721 E Morehead St, Reidsville, NC 27320). Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church (633 NC-150, Greensboro, NC 27455). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
