It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dewey Watson Rickman of Reidsville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora "Trixie" Rickman and Ruby Tucker Rickman; his former wife Leilani Thacker Rickman; his wife Shirley Dunlap Rickman; and his siblings, Paul Rickman, Charlie Rickman, Robert Rickman and Peggy Rickman Chapmon.
He is survived by: his son Jason Rickman; his stepchildren, Cheryl Bunton (Stephen) and Steve Dunlap; his siblings, Earl Rickman, Johnny Rickman and Denise "Tootie" Rickman Jones; and his caregiver Renee Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
