He is survived by: his wife Hilda Brown; his sons, Darian Brown of Reidsville, NC and Christopher Brown of Concord, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Annie Brown of Rocky Point, NC, Theresa Watkins of Reidsville, NC, Tilda Morehead of Reidsville, NC, Jacqueline Watkins of Reidsville, NC and Melvin Watkins (Burrell) of Durham, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home (721 E Morehead St, Reidsville, NC 27320). Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Blackwell Missionary Baptist Church (4777 US-158, Yanceyville, NC 27379). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
