It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Daniel Pruitt (Reidsville, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Pruitt; his wife Shirley Kennon Pruitt; and his brother Wesley Pruitt. He is survived by: his daughters, Janice P. Pinnix (Sherwood) and Carol P. Hopkins (David); his niece Skilarr Pruitt; his grandson Dillon Pinnix; and his siblings, Barbara Watkins, Mary Woods and Charles Pruitt. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
