He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Albert, Luke of Reidsville, Cody Lankford (Kelly) of Lexington and Hannah Vernon (Jordan) of Madison; his sisters, Sherry Sands (Keith) of Greensboro and Wendy Roberts (Chris) of Chesapeake Va; and his grandchildren, Carly, Weston Vernon and Boyd Lankford.
