It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minister Colleen L. Harrison of Reidsville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Mack and Dors McCall; her husband Elder Joseph Harrison Sr.; her son Donnie Harrison; her grandsons, Sheldon Wright and Cornelius Harrison; her great grandchild Siniyah Mae Lofton-Harrison; and her son-in-law Bishop Alphonse Nicholson.
She is survived by: her children, Beatrice Collins of Greensboro, NC, Channa Harrison-Wright (Sheldon) of Pilot Mountain, NC, Rev. Joseph Harrison (Sandra) of Greensboro, NC, Waxie Nicholson of Reidsville, NC, Rev. Lawrence Harrison (Angela) of Reidsville, NC, Donna Scales (Monoleto) of Greensboro, NC, Morique Fountain (Marlon) of Winston-Salem, NC, Titus Harrison (Marlene) of Reidsville, NC, Sheneka Harrison of Greensboro, NC, Sherita Paylor (Antione) of Reidsville, NC, Doris Harrison of Reidsville, NC and Dorene Bridges (Almonzo) of Atlanta, GA.; and her sister-in-law Mary Harrison. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home (721 E Morehead St, Reidsville, NC 27320). Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Benaja Mt. Zion Holiness Church of God (600 McWalker Rd, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
