It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde Hawkins Saunders (Reidsville, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Saunders and Fannie Jackson Saunders; his wife Peggy Gladden Saunders; his son Roger Grant Saunders; and his brother Ray Saunders.
He is survived by: his son Tim Saunders (Kathy); his granddaughter Hannah Gregorski (Christopher); his brother Jimmy Saunders (Valerie); his nephew Greg Saunders (Carla); his nieces, Amanda Rebb (Darrell) and Eve Swaney (Tyler); and his cousin Larry Jackson (Frances).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to New Heights Baptist Church Building Fund, 2796 NC Hwy 14, Reidsville, NC 27320.
