It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Nicholson Wheeler (Reidsville, North Carolina), born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bishop Alphonse Nicholson and Elder Geraldine Johnson Nicholson; her granddaughter Vanessa Renne Brown; and her sibling Elder Vernice Nicholson Smalls. She is survived by: her siblings, James Nicholson and Rose Nicholson Rudd; her husband Timothy Wheeler; her children, Taquia Brown (D'Anthony), Ali Norman (Michelle) and Shawn "Dirty" Norman; her siblings, Overseer Florine Ortega (Apostle Roberto), Marie Cobb (Bishop James), Margaret Mitchell (Ronnie), Evang, Spencer Keesee (Cornelia), Earl Nicholson (Sandra) and Alexander Nicholson (Dewanna); her siblings-in-law, Karel Wheeler, Robert Smalls, John Wheeler, Jr. (Sharon), James Wheeler, Sr. (Sharon), David Wheeler (Jewel) and Anthony Wheeler (Mary); her close friends, Wanda Lane, Tammy Warner and Letisha Jeffries; and her stepmother Elder Waxie H. Nicholson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
