She was predeceased by: her parents, James Monroe Pinnix and Nettiebell Neal Pinnix; her spouse Bennie Arthur Harrison; her son Garland Harrison; and her siblings, Sylvester Pinnix, Margaret Cotton, Lillie Pinnix, Connie Blackwell and Virtene Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Charie Sharpe, Clayvon Harrison and Tammie Hopkins (Gregory Hopkins); her brother Roy Pinnix; her daughter-in-law Cynthia Harrison; her grandchildren, Tia Sharpe, RaShannon Fountain, RaShonna Grave, Lakesha Harrison, Erica Wheless, Teon Harrison, Tyson Harrison, Gwan Harrison, Ashleigh Harrison and Clumon Totten; and her friends, Sharon Larry, Wanda Enoch and Delores Dupree. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home (721 E Morehead St, Reidsville, NC 27320). Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Elm Grove Baptist Church (1302 US-29 BUS, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
