He is survived by: his wife Betty Gwynn; his daughters, Sharon Gwynn of Greensboro, NC and Susan Sumner of Greensboro, NC; his grandchildren, Bernard Posey (Holly), Rebekah Whitley (Mike) and Jacob Sumner; his great grandchildren, Brayden and Ronan; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Doss (Barbara), Roger Doss (Penny) and Louise Doss. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and a county full of cousins.
