He is survived by: his wife Virginia Parks Jones; his children, Rachel Shively (David), Ryan Jones (Charity) of Ferrum, Virginia, Robert Jones (Beth), Rosalind Wassen (Charles) of Greensboro, Ruth Ann Hood (John), Rebecca Hudson (Keith) of Brown Summit and Randell Jones (Donna) of Oak Island; and his brother Clyde Jones (Mary) of Greensboro.
