He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lee Hudspeth, Sr. and Bessie "Judy" Nicks Hudspeth; his wife Alice Choplin Hudspeth; and his siblings, Robert Ray Hudspeth, Jerry Dean Hudspeth and Nancy Jane Miller.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Hudspeth Binkley (David) of Terrell and Sandra L. Hudspeth of Reidsville; his siblings, Linda H. Sprinkle of Winston-Salem and Edward Lee Hudspeth, Jr. (Faye) of Kernersville; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth C. Rosa (Betty Towler) of Lexington.
