Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Anita leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oren Chapmon and Eva Tate; and her husband John Robert Dove. She is survived by: her siblings, William (Buddy) Chapmon (Pat) and Amelia Pate (Pete); her stepdaughters, Michelle Dove (Daniel Jackson) and Tasha Dove (Reid Pruitt); her grandson Oliver Jackson; and her sister Jennie Banfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Citty Funeral Home, Inc. (308 Lindsey St, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Citty Funeral Home Chapel (308 Lindsey St, Reidsville, NC 27320).
