He is survived by: his mother Argusta Pearl Goodyear of Red Springs; his wife Betty Goodyear of Red Springs; his daughters, Cassandra Goodyear of Raleigh and Crystal Goodyear of Raleigh; his aunt Carrie Leatherwood of Detroit, Michigan; and his siblings, Zenovera Leak, Opal Leach of Red Springs, Myra Broadnax of Hope Mills, Jolunda Coe (Jack) of Parkton and Anthony Goodyear (Yolanda) of St. Pauls. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and in-laws.
