He was predeceased by: his parents, Stacy H. Evers and Mary E. Holland; and his wife Henrietta Evers. He is survived by: his children, Kellie Hicks (Christopher) of Red Springs and Stacey Evers of Orrum; and his grandchildren, Phillip Hicks, Hannah Hicks and Mason Evers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews as well as a host of special friends.
