She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Scott and Myrna Scott; and her brother Reverend Jerry Scott. She is survived by: her husband Merlin Oxendine; her son Clay Patrick Scott of Red Springs; her siblings, Gloria Scott, Orleane Chavis of Red Springs, NC., Tilden Scott and Aaron Scott (Mannie) of Maxton, NC.; her children, Terry Oxendine (Peggy) of Lumberton, Celeste Hunt (Brent) of Maxton, Regina Baxley (Jimmy) of Maxton and Jason Oxendine (Tena) of Maxton; her grandchildren, Cayden Scott, Josh, Deion, Miranda, Phyllis, Tristan, Mahlea, Teea, Taylor, Zack, Cassie and Shane; and her great grandchildren, Grayson, Ally, Ava, Cinco, Gianna, Lexton, Bremen and Frankie. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
