She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur James Breeden and Sarah Martha Davis Breeden; her brothers, William Breeden, Richard Breeden and Jimmy Breeden; and her brothers-in-law, Kenneth Bruce and Ben Stanton.

She is survived by: her husband Mackie Ray McClendon; her children, Michael Ray McClendon of Laurinburg and Cindy McClendon Cross of Laurinburg; her granddaughters, Brandi Cross Flanagan (Devan) of Laurinburg and Sarah Kathryn Cross (Chandler) of Laurinburg; her great grandchildren, Bradley, Emilia and Amberly Flanagan; her daughter Fran Wynn of Taylorsville; and her siblings, David Breeden (Jackie), JoAnn B. Craven of Gibson, Jane Williford, Toni Carol Bruce of Maxton, Anita Stanton of Cherryville and Sandy McKenzie (Jim) of West End. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, loving family and many friends.

The family requests donations be given in Linda's memory to New Hope Baptist Church, 11480 Hasty Road, Laurinburg, NC 28352.
