Roosevelt Locklear Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roosevelt Locklear of Red Springs, North Carolina, who passed away on October 2, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Can Locklear and Sally Locklear; and his wife Louise Brooks Locklear. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Brooks of Greensboro, Scotty Brooks (Sue Ann) of Red Springs, Lilly Ann Locklear of Pennsylvania, Brenda Locklear of Charlotte and Connie Locklear of Charlotte; his stepdaughter Patsy Fowler of Shannon; his sister Gladys Locklear of Maxton; and his close friend Victoria Locklear. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, three step-granddaughters.
