He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Oxendine Jr. and Verlie Mae Bullard Oxendine; and his brother David Oxendine. He is survived by: his sons, Ricky Oxendine Jr. (Temeara Washington) of Maxton and Ethan Oxendine of Maxton; the mother of his children Loretta Dunn; his brother Johnny Oxendine (Linda) of Red Springs; his stepmother Betty Oxendine; his stepsister Angela Locklear; his grandchildren, Jezelle, Lachina, Jacotya, Skylon, Makaden, Ethan, Chanel, Rosoideae, Phoenix, Hezekiah and Naomi; his stepgrandchildren, Nina, Nani and Nico; and his close friend Nelson "Dogg" McNeill. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (812 S Main St, Red Springs, NC 28377). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
