He was predeceased by: his parents, Lacy Campbell Locklear and Rosie Lee Jacobs; and his siblings, Gary Locklear, Micheal Locklear, Marshal Locklear and Cindy Locklear.
He is survived by: his close friend Doris Jacobs; his daughters, Shaletha Locklear (Kevin Lowery) of Red Springs and Jasmine Locklear (Fernando Bello) of Red Springs; his siblings, Terry Locklear of Raeford, Peggy Locklear of Red Springs, Lisa Bullard of Pembroke and Diane Locklear of Lumberton; his close friend Dale Miller; and his granddaughters, Nakiyah Locklear, Alexandria Jones, Kahona Lowery, Kiyohna Lowery, Kamileigh Lowery, Nayeli Bello, Nalejandra Bello and Nathalia Bello. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (812 S Main St, Red Springs, NC 28377). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
