He is survived by: his wife Bethyina; his siblings, Elisa Sue Hunt, Sharon Bissett (Paul) of Red Springs, Betty Jane Bullard of Maxton and Ronnie Bullard (Letha) of Red Springs; and his children, Mark Chavis of San Antonio, TX, Timothy Chavis (Veronica) of Austin, TX and Natasha Lynn Chavis of Lumberton, NC..
