He was predeceased by : his son Derick Locklear; and his siblings, Franklin Locklear, Panuel Locklear, Kenneth Locklear, Jerry Gene Locklear, Dan Dee Locklear, Gerald Locklear, Donnie Brooks, Shirley Gutierrez, Vergie Butler and Patsy Locklear.
He is survived by : his wife Joanie Maynor Locklear; his children, Eric Locklear (Sasha) of St. Pauls, Larry Bullins of Shannon, Erica Locklear of St. Pauls, Jennifer Bullins of Red Springs, Kimberly Bullins of Parkton and Amiya Hall of Parkton; his sister Betty Ann Carter of Virginia; and his grandchildren, Eric Jr. Locklear, Quentin Locklear, Samantha Locklear, Larry Bullins, Derrick Jr. McRae, Timothy McRae, Josten Johnson and Jerimiah Johnson. He is also survived by four great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
