He was predeceased by: his parents, James Riley Robinson and Mary Elizabeth Dawson Robinson; his son-in-law Paul Rutherford IV; his niece Elizabeth Robinson; and his pet Shadow.
He is survived by: his wife Myra W. Robinson; his children, Alivia C. Rutherford (Chase) of Red Springs, Kathryn E. Melton of Red Springs and Braxton M. Willoughby (Sherree) of South Carolina; his pet Lackland; his siblings, Tammy Nye (Robbie) of Lumberton, Richard Robinson (Lisa) of Bladenboro, Shirley Chance (Scott) of Lumberton, James and Lisa McDougald (Daniel) of Lumberton; his aunt Pat Musselwhite of Washington; his grandchildren, Isaiah, Rena, Shaun, Destiny, Jeremiah, Elijah, Natalie, Esha and Kayden; his pets, Heath, Alice, Smokie, Willie of Colin, JP, Austin, Chase and Avel; his close friends, Gary Jackson, Tim Davis and Abdul Sarama; and his cousin James Musselwhite. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
