It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Wayne Robinson of Red Springs, North Carolina, born in South Hill, Virginia, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Riley Robinson and Mary Elizabeth Dawson Robinson; his son-in-law Paul Rutherford IV; his niece Elizabeth Robinson; and his pet Shadow.
He is survived by : his wife Myra W. Robinson; his children, Alivia C. Rutherford (Chase) of Red Springs, Kathryn E. Melton of Red Springs and Braxton M. Willoughby (Sherree) of South Carolina; his pet Lackland; his siblings, Tammy Nye (Robbie) of Lumberton, Richard Robinson (Lisa) of Bladenboro, Shirley Chance (Scott) of Lumberton, James and Lisa McDougald (Daniel) of Lumberton; his aunt Pat Musselwhite of Washington; his grandchildren, Isaiah, Rena, Shaun, Destiny, Jeremiah, Elijah, Natalie, Esha and Kayden; his pets, Heath, Alice, Smokie, Willie of Colin, JP, Austin, Chase and Avel; his close friends, Gary Jackson, Tim Davis and Abdul Sarama; and his cousin James Musselwhite. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
