She was predeceased by: her father John Henry; her husband Alvin A. Pearson Sr.; her children-in-law, Lonnie McArthur Jr., Robert E. Dorsey and Gloria Pearson; her siblings, Daniel, Lonnie, William, Weldon, Archie, Albert, Henry, Johnny Blue, Lena and Rebecca Blue; and her great grandchild Malaya Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Dorsey, Shirley Hasty, Betty Carr (Herman), Brenda Burkes (Alfred), Barbara McNeill (Marvin), Elsia Renee Hardin (Harold) and Alvin A. Pearson Jr..
