She was predeceased by: her parents, Neil Pat Watson and Margaret Gay Easterling Watson; and her siblings, Neil Pat Watson, Jr. of Raleigh, Earle A. Watson of Red Springs, Donald K. Watson of Red Springs, David E. Watson of Red Springs, Dorothy McPhaul of Antioch, Isabel Canady of Hope Mills and Bessie Rose Carmical of Lumberton. She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, and a host of grandnieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Boles Funeral Home- Red Springs (102 S Vance St, Red Springs, NC 28377). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Red Springs Presbyterian Church (115 N Vance St, Red Springs, NC 28377).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Flora Macdonald Educational Foundation at 200 North College Street Red Springs, NC 28377.
