She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Delfino Flores Galeana and Elena Hernandez Meza; her husband Rufo Capote; her children, Tania Capote-Marin (Miguel), David Capote-Flores (Andrea), Edgar Flores-Capote (Janine) and Ruffo Flores-Capote (Jacquelyn); her grandchildren, Elena Capote, Emma Capote, Kevin Marin, Isabella Granillo, David Capote II, Giselle Marin, Esperanza Capote, Benjamin Capote, Edgar Capote, Liliana Capote and Allen Marin; and her siblings, Blanca Flores-Hernandez and Marcos Flores-Hernandez.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Floyd Mortuary and Crematory (809 E 5th St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (2000 E Elizabethtown Rd, Lumberton, NC 28358). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Floyd Memory Gardens (3720 Old Whiteville Rd, Lumberton, NC 28358).
