She is survived by: her husband Albert Carter; her children, Pamela Carter (Lee Hall) of Red Springs, Missa Carter of Red Springs, William Carter (Evette Carter) of Grand Prairie, TX, Christopher Carter (Valerie Carter) of Red Springs and Houston Carter of Red Springs; her sister-in-law Susan "Vickie" Locklear; her sisters, Freda Porter, Barbara Deese, Kimberly Clancy and Cecily Maynor; and her friends, Devone Rous and Judy Brooks. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
