It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia B Jacobs of Red Springs, North Carolina, who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sandy Merrick Locklear and Jessie Jones Locklear; her husband Winford Jacobs; and her sons, Earl Locklear, Gerald Jacobs, Charles Jacobs and Ronald Jacobs.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Edwards of Shannon, Jackie Jacobs of Red Springs, Dobie Jacobs of Red Springs and Glenn (Diane) of Red Springs; and her siblings, Albert Mitchell of Pennsylvania and Willow Mena Thomas of New Jersey. She is also survived by grandchildren great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.
