It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Douglas Manuel of Red Springs, North Carolina, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Alfredia King Manuel; his daughters, Roxanne King and Shelia Manuel; and his siblings, Rev. James Emanuel (Hazel), Pearl Emanuel, Eliza J. McRae, Helen Emanuel-McPhatter (Ronnie) and Yvonne Emanuel.
