It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jody Lee Hunt Jr. of Red Springs, North Carolina, who passed away on September 29, 2023, at the age of 26, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Dakota Hunt; his niece Aaliyah Williams; his nephew Dakota Williams; and his grandfather Elbert Mauldin. He is survived by: his parents, Jody Lee Hunt of Shannon and Melissa Mauldin Hunt; his daughter Jadalynn Joel Faith Hunt; his sisters, Alyssa Locklear (Josh) of Raeford, Tyndall Hunt of Red Springs and Kimberly Hunt of Red Springs; his grandparents, Glenda Mauldin, Sherman and Sarah Hunt of Rowland; and his nieces and nephews, Jayla, Kaitlynn, La'Onna, Nevaeh, Kay'Leonna, Kaylonni, Zhi'Anna, Bryson and Nakiah.
