He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Locklear and Argene Locklear; his wife Lucille Locklear; his daughter Brenda Sue Locklear; his granddaughters, Samantha Locklear, Jazsmine Locklear and Rhonda Elizabeth Locklear; and his siblings, Buddy Locklear, Samuel Locklear, James Albert "Dickie" Locklear, Ethel Ransom, Virginia Locklear and Linda Norton.
He is survived by: his children, Jerilene Hall of Red Springs, Angela Hunt (Dallas) of Maxton, Juanita Gray of Raeford, Ernest Locklear (Ellen) of Red Springs, Leno, Lee Allen Hall of Red Springs, Katrina Lynn Hall of Red Springs, Lynette Hall of Red Springs, Lonnie Morrell Locklear of Red Springs, Ashley Ann Locklear of Red Springs, Natasha Locklear, Merrill Maurice Locklear and Marcus Antonio Locklear of Raeford; his siblings, Jesse Arnold "Booster" Locklear of St. Pauls, Gary Lee "Nuckle" Locklear of Fayetteville, Mary Lee Hargrove of Clarkton, Martha Lowery of St. Pauls, Rosie "Nabin" Gray of St. Pauls, Hilda Locklear of St. Pauls and Noralene Jones of Laurinburg; and his great grandchild Dasani Alize Walker. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
