It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jason Everette Simmons of Red Springs, North Carolina, who passed away on June 21, 2024, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Curly Simmons and Linda Gayle Locklear of Red Springs; his grandparents, James, Josephine Simmons, Stacey and Othlear Jones; and his niece Krista Gayle Locklear.

He is survived by : his wife Jessica Simmons; his children, Ashton Kelly of Clinton, Dalyn Locklear, Shania Locklear and Della Locklear; his granddaughter Amiria Finch of Nashville, Tennessee.; his siblings, Chris Simmons of Angier, Dennis Locklear of Aberdeen and Stacey Gail Locklear of Red Springs; his nieces and nephews, Chris Simmons, Norman Simmons of Angier, Naomi and Nyair Locklear of Aberdeen; and his pets, Nyla and Fatboy.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (812 S Main St, Red Springs, NC 28377). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
