It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Daniel Kelly of Red Springs, North Carolina, born in Evergreen, Alabama, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Deborah Kelly; his parents, Thomas Kelly and Ruth Kelly; and his sisters, Helen Kelly McGee, Mildred Kelly Nelson and Ernestine Kelly Berklite.

He is survived by: his wife T. Liisa Kelly; his daughters, Judith Kelly of Panama City, Florida and Rebecca Kelly Swartz of Panama City, Florida; his grandchildren, Jeremy Dustin Swartz (Sarah) and Joelle Swartz Vazquez; his great grandchildren, Clementine Swartz, Olivia Vazquez and Emilia Vazquez; and his brother-in-law Clyde Webb. He is also survived by in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lumbee River Christian College (formerly Native American Bible College), PO Box 248, Shannon, NC 28386, for the James D. Kelly Memorial Scholarship fund.
