He was predeceased by: his father Ruben Jr.. He is survived by: his brother Ronnie "Beast" Jacobs; his daughter Annie Mae Locklear of Rowland; and his siblings, Nolan "Sam" Jones of Red Springs, Terry "Catfish" Jacobs of Red Springs, Della "Dede" Lambert of Red Springs and Doris "Didy" Jacobs of Red Springs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
