She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Locklear and Ethel; her son Eric Teague; her granddaughter Christina Hunt; and her siblings, Rev. Edmond Locklear, Shelby Cummings, Kern Locklear, Bernitha Locklear and Benson Locklear.

She is survived by: her husband James Walter Teague; her children, James Henry Teague (Martha) of Red Springs, Helen Marie Clark (Richard) of Red Springs, Deborah Jean Bryant (Kenneth) of Red Springs and Larry Edward Teague (Teresa) of Shannon; her sister Geraldine Clark of Red Springs; and her grandchildren, Jamie, Jenny, Michele, Kimberly, Ashley, Brandon, Heather, Alex, Tina, David and Amanda. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
