She is survived by: her husband Roy Locklear; her children, Berna Chavis-Broady of Red Springs and Grady Chavis of Shannon; her stepchildren, Roy Mitchell Jacobs of Red Springs and Shawana Michelle Oxendine of Raeford; and her siblings, Rev. Gene Truman Chavis of Red Springs, Zinford Chavis of Red Springs, Dianne Watson of Red Springs and Linda Chavis of Red Springs. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
