She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Nick Hunt and Maudie Lowery Hunt; her husband Willie Sanford Locklear; her son Fernandos Locklear; her grandchildren, Terry Sanford Locklear, Jr. and Tere Charlton; her siblings, Lois Lambert, Mary Lois Locklear "Pee Wee", Patricia Tyler, Dean Lambert and Nicky Hunt; and her son-in-law Ricky Brewington.
She is survived by : her children, Jane Britt (Wayne) of Rennert, Consuelo Lowery (Lawerence) of St, Pauls, Teresa Brewington of Pembroke, Annette Tyler (Lannie) of Red Springs, Rose Revels (Mitchell) of Red Springs, Emma Carter (Mickey) of Raeford, Denver Locklear (Brenda), William Paul Locklear of Rennert, Mitchell Hunt of Red Springs and Terry Sanford Locklear (Dale) of Pembroke; her stepson Lynn Locklear; her siblings, Brenda Hunt (Alford), Kathleen Oxendine, Russell Hunt (Bertha), Billy Hunt (Patsy), Robert Lambert (Karen), Dwayne Lambert, James Lambert and Joseph Lynn Chavis; and her close friend Vivian Bell. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren as well as a host of other relative and friends.
