She was predeceased by: her father Garland Brooks; and her brothers, William "Bill" Brooks, Calvin Brooks and James Robert. She is survived by: her children, Brooks, Vintrice Brooks, Charlie Ray Brooks, Thomas "Boucom" Brooks, Lillie Clark, Louise Brooks, Maybell "Cutta" Freeman, Deloris Scott of Red Springs and Dianne Clark (Faviola) of Red Springs; her siblings, John L. Brooks of Red Springs, H. B. Brooks of Red Springs, Ervin Brooks (Rose) of Maxton, Queen Ester Harris of Laurinburg and Patsy Fowler of Shannon; her grandchildren, Bryan, Brandon, Eric, Derrick, Melody, Tia and Jayden; and her great grandchildren, Zysyan, Zariyah, Jerimiah, Catori, Cassidy of Chloe, D. J., Kayle, Baby Carlos, Kaylen, Zachary, Payton and Gage.
