It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen Lowery of Red Springs, North Carolina, who passed away on July 23, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Eileen leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her sister Gearline Lowery of Red Springs; her nephews, Jimmy D. Brooks (Stephanie) of Shannon and Nickie Brooks of Red Springs; and her close friend James Henry Gay. She is also survived by five great nephews and nieces, three great, -great-nephews and nieces.
