He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald E Parnell and Mattie Mae Jordon Parnell; his brother Bill Stevens; and his grandson Adam Parnell. He is survived by: his wife Janice Parnell; his children, Gordon Parnell (May) of St. Pauls, George Parnell (Sue) of Fuquay-Varina, David Parnell (Beth) of Fuquay-Varina, Ivey Parnell (Karen) of St. Pauls, Michael Hall of Red Springs and Renee Daniels (Bobby) of Red Springs; and his brothers, Doug Stevens (Jane) of Fayetteville, Johnnie Parnell (Jeannette) of Street Md and Robert Parnell (Jeanne) of Washington State. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren.
