She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Haney and Hettie C. Haney; her son John Foster Hammonds; her grandson Adam Maynor; and her siblings, Jackson Haney, Sr., CJ Haney, Margie Bell Helms, Shelby Jean Teague, Debbie Caulder, Brenda Hammonds, Mildred Hall, Louise King and Vanessa Teague.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Locklear (Bryan), Lisa Hammonds, Timothy "Timbo" Hammonds (Lorie Ann) of Red Springs and Jason Hammonds of Red Springs; and her grandchildren, Dewayne (Chasity), Dawn, Gina (Harold), Kasei (Jonathan), Leanne (Chris), Nicholas (Kristen), Joshua, Justin, Ashley, Timothy Jr. "Tim Tim", Leeyah, Jaydon "Duke Man", Caden "Nussie Girl", Johnathon "Taylor", Brittany and Kelsey.
