He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur B. McCormick and Annie Ruth Pittman McCormick; and his brother Wilbur Jerrall McCormick. He is survived by: his wife Karen Melton McCormick; his stepdaughter Alisha Wilcox of Lumberton; his sister Margie McCormick Cribb of Lumberton; his nephews, Kyle Cribb (Sigrid) of Greensboro and Keven Cribb (Karen) of Lumberton; and his stepgrandchildren, Kaitlyn Jones and Matt Wilcox.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Boles-Biggs Funeral Home (801 N Chestnut St, Lumberton, NC 28358). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Meadowbrook Cemetery (2500 N Walnut St, Lumberton, NC 28360).
