He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Charles T. Johnson and Myrtis D Johnson; and his siblings, Catherine Overton and William Johnson (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Dare Johnson of Scotia Village; his sister Myrtis Boone Morrison of Southern Pines; and his children, Elise McMillan (David) of Pittsboro and Thomas Johnson (Michelle) of Lumberton. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
