He is survived by: his wife Alease Murray (Earlee); his children, Charles A. Ferguson, Jr. of Red Springs and Deshonda Ferguson of Raleigh; and his grandchildren, Rashon Ferguson (Ray Ray) of Red Springs, Dontray Williams (Jamie Gee) of Red Springs, Tyla'Re Ellerbe of Red Springs, Faye Garrett of Durham, Dennis Garrett, Jr. of Durham and Adrian Cole Locklear of Shannon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, fishing buddies, former coworkers and friends.
