It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charity Lee Oxendine of Red Springs, North Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Peggy Ann Oxendine; her children, Jessica Lynn Locklear, Craig Wesley Locklear, Jr. and Jordon Michael Locklear; her grandparents, Ready Oxendine, John Henry Locklear, Eula Mae Goins and Jessie Goins; and her aunt Sarah "Sweetie" Jacobs.
She is survived by: her children, Haleisha Locklear of Stedman, Brandan D. Oxendine (Helen Spaulding) and Jaylon Sanderson; her father Jessie "Booty" Goins; her siblings, Tamsha L. Lockear of Shannon, Atika R. Locklear of Shannon, Kashina M. Locklear of Minnesota and Kenwood Locklear of Shannon; her granddaughter Cayleigh Cain; her uncle Leon Brooks of Red Springs; her aunt Thelma Bryant; and her close friend Justin Sanderson.
Charity enjoyed music, cooking, cleaning and spending time with her family.
