With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Campbell (Red Springs, North Carolina), born in Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on December 10, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaiah Johnson and Katie Benton Johnson; her siblings, Rutha Mae Jones, Doretha McNeil, Mary Jane Johnson-Mickel, Willie Mae Moore, Lauretha Lewis, Leroy Jackson and Albert Johnson; and her nephew Tony McKeithan, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Marlo Everett of Red Springs, Merlo Murray of Bridgeport, Connecticut, Calvin Murray of Red Springs and Lauretta McKeithan (Tony) of Red Springs; and her brother Robert Johnson (Eunice) of Irvington. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (812 S Main St, Red Springs, NC 28377). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Miracle Revival Center (4657 Daniel McLeod Rd, Red Springs, NC 28377).
