It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nell Rose Ellis Boone (Red Oak, North Carolina), born in Gates, North Carolina, who passed away on February 20, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thomas Ellis and Nellie Pruden Ellis; her husband Charles Albert "Al" Boone; her granddaughter Margaret Elizabeth Boone; and her siblings, Maggie Swindler, Thomas Ellis, Dorothy Williams, Lois Boone and Mamie Tyler.
She is survived by: her sons, Bert Boone (Donna) of Nashville and Neal Boone (Mary) of Red Oak; her grandchildren, Casey Boone, Luke Boone (Samantha, Wesley Boone) and Bradley Boone (Kristin); her great grandchild Sawyer Boone; and her sister Molly Bass of Nags Head. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
